Lesson Summary:Students will analyze and be able to describe material presented to them for levels of credibility and reliability. They will be able to detect bias, and propaganda and understand the significance of evaluating it as they review information on a daily basis. They will have many opportunities to consider information presented to them and determine if they need to seek out more information on a given topic in order to better define it as credible and reliable. This lesson will emphasize the importance of detecting propaganda and bias. Students will gain an understanding that material is often skewed based on viewpoints and circumstances surrounding the creation of material.
